Visual Pursuit is a Scottish born drone-based service and data solutions company. Founded in 2017 and imagined by early adopters with a passion for both aviation and photography. Using the latest drone technology has to offer while keeping a customer-centric focus and approaching every job with a comprehensive understanding.

We are dedicated to provide data solutions using remote systems. Our pilots are trained to work in Telecommunications, Engineering, Rail, Mining & Construction.
Our Story
Visual Pursuit was conceived in 2017 by Robert Mulligan. Robert always had a passion for both aviation and photography, flying scale model RC aircrafts from the young age of 9 and invested in both photography and video editing from 11.
Robert dreamed of a career in becoming a Pilot in the RAF, however this dream came to an halt after not meeting medical requirements. This led to venturing in and out of different career opportunities, in seek of another ‘dream’. This was until drone technology progressed.
Utilising photography, video editing and a life time of piloting unmanned aircraft systems, Robert poured his hobbies and passion into the now known ‘Visual Pursuit’, with continued education, research and experience, Visual Pursuit are able to provide specialist unmanned aerial services.
We have grown rapidly and perfected our service over the years; thanks to our amazing staff and network of drone experts nationwide, enabling us to expand our service throughout Scotland and North England with larger projects taking us further afield.

What We Bring

We are governed, regulated and approved by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Our pilots hold all relevant certificates and are approved to pilot under Visual Pursuit's 'Operational Authorisation', this is our rule book given by the CAA to Operate Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), this enables us to get close to involved and uninvolved persons when completing tasks for our customers.
Using the latest in drone technology. Visual Pursuit's collection of drones are capable of capturing accurate surveying data, stunning aerial photography, video, high zoom, thermal imaging, RTKand a whole lot more.
We have many years of experience when it comes to video and photo editing, processing of data to be used in surveying, 3D modelling, stockpile volumes and cut-and-fill analysis.
